Did you know every floating dock is like an upside-down coral reef? They’re teeming with marine life like sponges, tunicates, worms, crabs, and even sea spiders and nudibranchs. These critters often live deep underwater, but they can survive on the bottom of docks where they can find the hard surfaces and constant submersion they need to survive.

Stop by and see us on Saturday 11/26 between 2 pm - 5 pm as we see what kind of weird squishy sea life lives under the public dock at Jack London Square.

We'll be near the big mast outside Scott’s Seafood Restaurant at the end of Broadway, which is totally walkable from 12th St and Lake Merritt BART stations, or the ferry!

This event is free and drop-in, so come by anytime between 2-5 pm.
