October Night Hike

  • Joaquin Miller Park Oakland, CA, 94611 United States (map)

Face your arachnophobia or bathe in your arachnophilia on Friday, October 26th! Come on a naturalist-led walk into Joaquin Miller Park where we'll look for the many spiders inhabiting the park. We'll be armed with UV flashlights and look for fluorescing scorpions, and we’ll be looking and listening for bats!

This is a free event, although there is a $20 suggested donation. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Ages 12 and up. Please RSVP at our Eventbrite Page so that we know how many people to expect. Exact meeting location will be emailed to participants before the event.

We will have UV flashlight that you can borrow or for cash purchase, but please bring your own flashlight or headlamp and dress in warm layers!
