Come learn what all the fuss is about with mushrooms! Where do they hide out? What’s their role in our local ecology? We'll focus on common fungal families and genera and learning to identify the larger mushroom species of the area.  

Local legend and lepidopterist Liam O’Brien will focus on two of the area’s largest butterflies: the Western Tiger Swallowtail and the Monarch. Learn how adaptations to the urban environment have pushed these species into new modes of survival. Liam will propose new ideas on how to improve our legacy with these fascinating and enthralling creatures.
